At the massive 2019 CES convention in Las Vegas, a gathering of some of the elite consumer brands showcased the year’s upcoming products and services. There were numerous eye-catching items to swoon over – from amazing TVs, tricked out cars, laptops with cutting-edge graphics and a wide variety of gadgets.
Unfortunately, many of the products displayed at the 2019 CES convention are not available to buy right now, however, any time soon in the future they all will be available for the general public.
Here are seven cool tech gadgets and technology displayed in the 2019 CES that we hope will make your life more electronically engaging, easier and comfortable as well.
LG has come up with a 65-inch TV that furls itself up into an aluminium base when not in use. Though LG first showed off its new, disappearing TV first at CES 2018, but this year it’s available for purchase.
The TV R can also be controlled using either Google assistant or Amazon Alexa, while it easily integrates with Apple’s AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. The TV also has a Dolby Atmos sound system in its base to experience theatre like sound at home.
The LG TV was undeniably one of the coolest things at CES this year.
Samsung unveiled a new class of TV with exceptional picture quality and modular capabilities. It is one of the most stylish 4K TVs produced by a company that makes people think, ‘Can a TV be practically like that’.
The frame of the TV is designed to blend in with your decor and the entire TV looks like a framed work of art when it’s switched off. It has an Art mode that lets the frame to adapt to a room’s lightning so the content that is displayed on the screen looks more natural the viewer. The company released a 49-inch version of the frame this year with far more vibrant colors than the last year’s models (last year models came in 43- inches, 55-inches, and 65-inch sizes).
LG’s booth at CES 2019 was filled with incredible technology to display, however the most amazing thing by far was its entrance. The company has a long tradition of creating amazing displays with its curved OLED TVs but nobody expected a waterfall composed of OLED 4K TVs.
The Korean electronics impressed everyone by assembling the most spectacular TV showcase as its CES booth. The installation was comprised of over 250 curved LG OLED TVs which took every one attention present in the convention.
At CES 2019, Samsung unveiled the latest version of the note 9 lineups of laptops. The company let the audience know that the computers will be available by the end of the first quarter of the year.
The Notebook 9 Pro seemed like a more premium product than its past generations. The Notebook 9 pro comes with a 13-inch 1080 display, 8th Gen Intel Core i7, 8 GB of ram and 256 GB of storage. The company stated that the starting price of the base model will be $1099, while it also offers a $1299 version that doubles both the ram and storage space to 16 GB and 512 GB, respectively.
5. Honor View20
Honour has a history to come at CES with some impressive smartphones and this year was no different. The company made its honour view 20 smartphone’s international debut at CES this year.
The phone quickly gained the attention of people thanks to its hole-punch display. Instead of having a notch or a slider, the view 20 has a tiny hole on the phone upper right corner where the front camera is located, while the rest of the front is all-screen. Moreover, its triple camera setup and striking rear design made was all impressive to strike the attention of all gadget lovers.
Withings Move is the new watch launched by Withings at CES. It’s an analogue smartwatch that has a GPS tracker and syncs with the Health Mate app. The watch impressively monitors your activity and sleep for about 18 months without requiring a battery charge.
Though the watch doesn’t have touch screens like other smartwatches to send notifications, the company plans to sell it at a very reasonable price tag of just $69.95 dollars as soon as it’s available for purchase.
Last year at CES Lenovo introduced the Lenovo Smart Display, a Google assistant speaker that meant to rival with Amazon Echo Show. In this year CES Lenovo launched Lenovo Smart Clock – a bedside alarm clock to give a tough time to Amazon’s Echo Spot.
The beauty of the Lenovo Smart Clock is its simplicity. Though it doesn’t have video calling or TV streaming features, however, it covers all the bedside bases. Apart from telling you time, charging your phone and waking you up in a gentle manner, the smart clock connects with Google Assistant so you can instruct it to do a lot more.
